Competing gardens flank the Chateau Chenonceau, in the Loire Valley, France.  Diane de Poiters, mistress to King Henry II, designed and ordered the planting of this garden. As if in response, Catherine De Medici created an opposing garden on the opposite side of the chateau when she became Queen of France upon the death of her husband, King Henry II.

There are competing gardens on each side of the Chateau Chenonceau, in the Loire Valley, France.  The mistress to King Henry II, Diane DePoiters designed and had this garden planted.  On the other side of the entrance to the Chateau is the garden by Catherine De Medici when she became Queen of France upon the death of her husband, King Henry II.

Bill’s artwork is printed on canvas or on fine art paper using a printing process called giclee (pronounced “zhee-clay”) This printing process allows colored inks to blend together making a fine art reproduction from a digital source. The finished product has full bodied, vivid colors and accurate details.
