The Bermante Staircase is located in the Vatican. It was designed by Donato Bramante in 1505. The staircase is actually a “Heli ramp”. It allowed Pope Julius II to reach is residence while in his carriage. (Yes, horses pulled the carriage up the ramp.) Pope Julius II was the pope who commissioned Michelangelo to paint the Sistine Chapel.
Bill’s artwork is printed on canvas or on fine art paper using a printing process called giclee (pronounced “zhee-clay”) This printing process allows colored inks to blend together making a fine art reproduction from a digital source. The finished product has full bodied, vivid colors and accurate details.
